Some other essential things, that this training teaches children, are perseverance, dedication, goal-setting, respect and patience.

MMA will teach children to respect others and themselves, and teach them not do anything to hurt themselves mentally or physically. Instructors will teach them to care for their emotional, physical and intellectual well-beings effectively and approach situations with a positive outlook. They will also learn the value of hard work and discipline, and they will learn that there can be positive outcomes to both succeeding and failing.

Children who study Mixed Martial Arts learn to take control of such things as their bodies, emotions and thoughts in any situation.
